Mica Tape for VPI

     This mica tape is built up with mica as base material and epoxy adhesion as binder to bind plus reinforcing material of alkali free glass cloth on surface. It is perfectly flexible under the normal temperature. After processed by vacuum pressure impregnating technology (VPI) together with impregnated compatible resin, it can be solidified into mica tape. Owing to the high mica content and excellent electrical function, it is noted as the ideal insulation material for the large and medium size high tension electrical machinery with VPI technology.

1Appearance

     The tape adhesion must be distributed homogeneously without bubble, pore, adhesion, lami-nation, foreigh matter, crack of mica paper, reeling out of glass cloth, loosening of tape coiling, etc.

4Brink bending

Brink bending of mica tape mustn't exceed by 1mm


5Length

    Mica tape length is shown by its coiling diameter. Diameter of tape coiling is 95mm±5mm or 115mm±5mm. In it the tying should not more than 1 piece and the shortest length must be no less than 5m. -The mica paper coiling with tying must be marked with symbol.
